Post 9: Changes to my study programme

Hi everyone, today I will write about my programme in the university.

In the first time, I think that the length of career is so large. And is little compatible with students who to other activities or other responsibilities. For example the people with children or that works.  

Other matter important is the associated with the curriculum, someone subject that I had they were  bad, because in the curriculum map they were poorly positioned. But 2 or 3 years ago (I don't remember the exact year) the committee ¿modified? some subject in the curriculum map. 

Another thing is the related with the teachers and their a teaching methods, even though the majority have excellent curriculum vitae but that is not only important, I think that the way get along the information its so bad. 

Respect with the faculty facilities in the actuality the space crew because we were many students  but the increase of the area brought with it other problems. For example the work overload for women workers, and others related with the territorial planning. 

Post 8: Personal Opinion

Hi everyone, in this post I will write about three topics. In this sense I will answer three questions with my personal opinion.

First of all, I answer the question about the recycling, I think it’s a functional and  beneficial practice because  in the actuality  the  waste produced by  us, the humans, is very big. Even Chile is the country that produces more trash in South America, it’s an alarming situation. But one solution for this problem is increasing the recycling because this activity contributes to decrease the trash in the places.

Another topic is about “barras bravas” I think it’s positive that people show passion for what they like, in this case the passion for one sports club, but in some occasions this passion is uncontrolled and violent, just in this case I don’t like the “barras bravas”, but I know that’s not all that’s happen with the “barras bravas”.  Also is a space where the people create community.

Another subject is about the Chilean tradition called “mechoneo”. The mechoneo is one activity that starts with very violent, sexist and denigrating practice.  With the pretext of mechoneo the senior university students abuse and mistreat their young classmates. But at the present this activity happens even less.

Post 7: Someone I'd like to meet

Hi everyone, today I will write about the person that I would like meet, really I hadn’t thought about this. But in this moment I think in Nina Simone, was an American artist and activist in the civil rights movement, she was born in Tryon (North Carolina, United Stated) in 1933 and died in 2003, so is impossible to meet her. She was a wonderful woman, excellent singer, composer and pianist. I think that she was a complete artist. The musical style of this artist is so wide; she plays soul, classical, jazz, folk, blues and other styles.

The first time when I listen to Nina Simone it was in a movie, called before sunset, when the coprotagonist Jess put a cd. Since then I started listening to it and I investigated about her life, and I loved her because from a very young age, she had to face situations caused by racial discrimination. She was a girl in her first concert in a church, when his parents were removed  from the first round for be black, she refused to play until his parents were moved back to the principal file. Afterwards she  left the classic music for economics problems and approached jazz and blues and she performed at the Midtown Bar & Grill on Pacific Avenue in Atlantic City. Subsequently,  global achievement with one interpretation of "I Loves You, Porgy".

Post 5: My Future Job

Hi everyone, today I will talk about my future job. I think that is a complicated topic because I don’t have any idea. Nevertheless, in the present I’m study sociology, and my only wish is conclude the career and go back to my house in Castro or simply escape from the city.   My plan is to work in any job, but if I find one job in the sociological area or similar I wouldn’t mind, in fact it would be beneficial. Anyway, the sociology is so ample; my favorite topic for work is the Sociology Rural, which is associated with the environment and the economy. In this sense I wouldn’t like job in the office all the time, just occasionally when it would be necessary.    At the same time I would like to get a postgraduate degree in social economics or environmental science. In my opinion the relation between nature and economic social and political structure is fundamental.

Post 3: My favorite tv show

Hi everyone, today I will talk about my favorite tv show, called El circo de las Montini. is a chilean soap opera produced by TVN, the first episode was aired in 2002. It's about the chilean circus (the circus is a very traditional activity in this country). The plot is about a family of women, they have a very important circus in San Antonio, this soap opera has a lot of plot, because it's follows the life around the artists of the international circus Las Montini.
I like this soap opera because the presentation of the artists and you can see the inside of the real circus, the job of production is very well done because it shows real acrobatics made by real chilean artists.
Also I like it because the topics are interesting for example one of the topic is about a trapeze artist who has HIV, and his sttrugle. I like the main character called Poto Loco,  she is one of the daughters of the circus owner, she is very funny and crazy haha

Post 2: The "Best" Concert I've seen

Hi everyone, today I will talk about the best concert I’ve seen, it’s a complicated choice but write about my first concert, maybe is not the best show, but it is the first in my memory.  My experience is about Axe Bahía, when I was little there was a musical style called Axe from Brazil, the musical style is so fun and danceable and so popular in the past decade especially in the children and young people.

I can´t remember the exact date of the concert, but I remember the place. The concert  was held in Osorno, and my mom with my aunt bought tickets for me and my friends, I was 8 years old and it was fantastic experience for me,  after all it was my first “big show”.  At present I don’t know much the members of the group, really never knew about members.  But it is a good memory with my mom and the other people. From then we share fabulous danceable moment with my mom.
